City of Napa Water, Napa County RCD and UC Master Gardeners are hosting free Water-Wise Landscaping Workshop Series sessions on October 16 and 23 at the Senior Center on 1500 Jefferson Street.
The October 16 session covers soils, mulches and sheet mulching while the October 23 event focuses on drought-tolerant plants and local rebate incentives—helping residents learn key water-saving techniques.

Water Audit California has filed a lawsuit asking a court to review Napa County’s approval process for Bonny’s Vineyard winery—alleging that the county may not have followed proper procedures.
The case will decide if county officials can prove the approval was valid.
