ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Napa County Wildlife Conservation Commission will begin accepting applications for the 2025-2026 WCC Grant Cycle on June 20 to support local fish and wildlife projects. Proposals must be submitted by July 21 and will be reviewed on August 25 — funding comes from California Department of Fish and Wildlife fines, local fines and settlements, and the General Fund. - ➤ The Napa County Grand Jury reviewed winery permitting in its 2024-25 report and suggested changes to current rules—county officials are expected to consider the recommendations soon. Napa Valley Register
