About this event
Join our Planting Day -- help us build a thriving meadow habitat at Santa Rosa Junior College - Petaluma Campus
Daily Acts and Santa Rosa Junior College are teaming up to transform the underutilized lawn throughout the school! This summer, we sheet mulched 4 sections of lawn and created a rain garden to help catch all our winter rain. This fall is the right time to get native & climate-appropriate plantings in the ground before our winter season arrives!
Together, we’ll create a water-wise landscape that will build habitat and bring beauty to the school community for years to come.
NOTE: All are welcome (including children with adult supervision), and no experience is needed
Come for some, or come for all—we will gather rain or shine!
We'll provide:
-FREE Lunch & Snacks
-Instruction & tools
-A fun day with the Petaluma and campus community
We look forward to seeing you there!
