Improv Next Steps & Scene Work

About this event

Improv: Next Steps & Scenework

Tuesdays from 7–9pm at the Polly Klaas Community Theater in Petaluma: November 3 – 17, 2026

Improvised Scenework is the natural next step for folks looking to deepen their improv practice. Once you’ve experienced the freedom of being present, spontaneous, and connected, it’s time to play with what comes next: characters, relationships, and storytelling.

In this series, we go deeper into what makes scenes flow smoothly and naturally. Together in a supportive, playful atmosphere, we’ll explore how to build fully realized worlds out of thin air, stay rooted in compelling characters, and discover organic stories with your scene partners.

Class Details: This three-week series is open to students ages 18+.

Prerequisite: Participation in one of Carrie’s improv classes. Have prior experience from another school/instructor? Email carrieyucaudle@gmail.com so we can chat and see if this course is a good fit!

Sign-Up Info: To finalize your sign-up, please Venmo your $150 payment to @carriecaudle. (No Venmo? Contact Carrie at carrieyucaudle@gmail.com or call/text 707-338-1364 to set up an alternative.)
