Choose a favorite photo of a pet and learn how to render it as a
watercolor portrait. Over three weeks, you’ll receive instruction from
an artist who has painted many commissioned pet portraits in watercolor.
Instructor Hannah Day will share her insights and her approach to
rendering animals in this medium, guiding you through a layering process
that builds vibrancy, detail, and depth.
Whether you’re new to
watercolor or have experience with the medium, this class offers an
engaging way to develop your skills while creating a personal portrait
of a beloved pet. Your finished painting can be a meaningful keepsake—or
a unique holiday gift.
You’re welcome to email your photo to us ahead of class, and we’ll print it for you to use as a reference.
