The Art of Mindful Gift Giving

Origami Gift Wrap

Join artist, author and educator Megumi Inouye for an intimate, hands on two hour workshop exploring gift wrapping as a practice of gratitude, mindfulness and creative expression.

Through conversation and making, Megumi will share inspiration from her Japanese heritage and bicultural upbringing, guiding participants through a variety of thoughtful, tape free gift wrapping techniques including folding origami inspired gift boxes and envelopes, wrapping a book, and also sharing a variety of embellishment ideas from nature and repurposing things around your home.

All materials, supplies and tools needed for the workshop will be provided

Megumi's book Origami Gift Wrap will be made available for purchase and signing. If you are interested in reading the book beforehand, her book is available at Copperfield's Books, Readers Books, Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and Shopkeeper Studio in Sonoma.

Megumi Inouye is an artist, author, and educator known for her sustainable and innovative approaches to gift wrapping.
