About this event

Let’s gather at the temple for the annual ceremony commemorating our Third High Priest Nichimoku Shonin, and remind ourselves of his great efforts to reveal the truth, and establish peace, security, and true happiness for the people. Nichimoku Shonin passed away peacfully on November 15th, 1333. At this significant time we also celebrate Children’s Day (Shichi-Go-San) as this ceremony also carries with it our hopes for the children of tomorrow. Let’s offer our prayers together that the children of Myoshinji may one day grow to be as skilled in Buddhism and as strong in faith, wisdom and knowledge as Nichimoku Shonin.
