Joy of Astonishment: An Afternoon of Magic and Mentalism

About this event

Magician and Mentalist Robert Goleman Returns to The California with “The Joy of Astonishment” Sunday, November 8, at 2:00 PM.

If you missed Robert in his last two appearances at The California, you’ll be happy to know that you have another chance! With more than 50 years of stage experience, Robert Goleman invites audiences into a riveting, intimate afternoon of magic and mentalism that has been described as “nothing short of astonishing.” Blending suspense, humor, and genuine audience connection, his performance turns every demonstration into a personal encounter – one that feels impossible, unforgettable, and beyond explanation.

The Joy of Astonishment is more than just another magic show; it is a shared experience of wonder, crafted for a close-up theatrical setting where every reaction matters. Absent from social media for more than a decade, Goleman’s reputation continues to grow through live performances and enthusiastic word of mouth, proving that the most powerful promotion is still the one that audiences carry out of the theater with them.

For theatergoers drawn to wit, wonder, and the thrill of the impossible, Robert Goleman offers an intimate afternoon where warmth, intellect, and astonishment meet – only at The California.
