About this event
The Healing Plate is a medically run and tailored group cooking class offered for free through Touro University California and their Student Run Free Clinic. Sessions are run by a medical provider and medical students. Participants will learn how to better manage chronic conditions such as diabetes or high cholesterol using food as medicine. Participants cook each week and enjoy a meal together. Participants MUST sign-up ahead of time using the number or email provided.
